Apple today introduced the Apple iPhone 13 which Apple says is “delivering breakthrough camera innovations and a powerhouse chip with an impressive leap in battery life”.
Physically, the new iPhone doesn’t look much different from the iPhone 12 series, with the change of the lens locations pretty much summing up the difference in design
However, under the skin, there’s a few things that Apple wanted to highlight.
Apple iPhone 13 series highlights
There are several hardware changes in the iPhone 13 series if compared to the iPhone 12 series.
One distinctive change is the introduction of the A15 Bionic chip which replaces the A14 used in last year’s model.
Apple claims the new chip is faster and more efficient compared to its predecessor.
Aside from that, Apple has also decided increase the battery capacity of the smartphone series, while at the same time improving its camera system.

Apple iPhone 13 series price and availability in Malaysia
The iPhone 13 series will be available in Malaysia this year and Apple is allowing pre-orders.
There’s no less than four colours to choose from in each variant.
According to the Apple Malaysia website, the smartphone can be pre-ordered next month, on 1 October, with the smartphone shipped out on 8 October.

Honestly, there doesn’t seem to be a significant change offered in the iPhone 13 to warrant a change if you already own the iPhone 12, or iPhone 11.
