vivo V23e series announced for Malaysia

vivo Malaysia has officially announced the vivo V23e series which consist of the vivo V23 5G, and the vivo V23e, for users in Malaysia.

The flagship selfie smartphones have one of the best front facing cameras in the segment which pushed selfie taking to new heights.

Both the vivo V23e series smartphones variants announced by vivo Malaysia are identical.

The only difference is spotted in its camera department in which the 5G variant has a 44MP AF Front Camera which delivers extremely clear and sharp, while the non-5G variant comes with a 50MP AF Front Camera.

At the rear camera section, the difference is also noted in terms of camera hardware with the 5G variant  installed with a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple lens set-up, while the non-5G variant features a higher 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera set-up.

Thanks to the difference in connectivity, the chipset used is also different with the 5G variant of the smartphone enjoying the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor which allows 5G connectivity, while the Mediatek Helio G96 processor powers the non-5G variant of the smartphone.

The rest of the smartphones are similar with with the Moonlight Shadow coloured variant measuring 7.36mm, while the Sunshine Coast colour variant sized at 7.41mm.

Both smartphone variants run on Funtouch OS 12 which is based on Android.  The also both have a 6.44 inch AMOLED display.

Powering both variants is a 4,050mAh battery which supports 44W FlashCharge.  vivo Malaysia claims it can charge the smartphone to 69% in just 30 minutes.

Like most of vivo’s newer smartphones, the vivo V23e series both supports the new Extended RAM 2.0 which allows 4GB of memory to be used as RAM whenever necessary.

Both variants of the V23e series are now available via pre-order in Malaysia at a retail price of RM1,599 for the 5G variant, and RM1,399 for the non-4G variant.

Pre-orders for the smartphones can be done until 17 December 2021 with exclusive free gifts worth up to RM559 for V23e 5G, and RM459 for V23e, included for every pre-order.

Those who pre-order the V23e 5G from online channels, such as vivo official E-store, E-commerce partners including Lazada and Shopee, and vivo authorised dealers and collaboration partners such as Chan Furniture, Courts, Harvey Norman, Lulu, Senheng, Sentriq, senQ, Thundermatch and Urban Republic, will receive an Automatic Soap Dispenser Gift Box, 1-Year Extended Warranty, and 1-Year Screen Crack Protection worth RM518.

Meanwhile, buyers who pre-order it from vivo concept stores will be receiving a Portable Bluetooth Speaker LED Alarm Clock, Tumbler, VIU TV 1-Month Premium Membership card, 1-Year Extended Warranty, and 1-Year Screen Crack Protection worth RM559. Those who pre-order the V23e will receive a Backpack, 1-Year Extended Warranty, and 1-Year Screen Crack Protection, worth RM459.

Aside from the deals above, vivo Malaysia also announced that there’s also special purchase-with-purchase (PWP) deals for those who pre-order the smartphone.

The PWP deal allows users to buy the vivo TWS 2 series at a 50% discount with additional daily offers for Bluetooth Speaker, GrabFood vouchers, Shopee/Lazada vouchers, and Wireless Headphone also made available.
