realme 9 highlights and specifications

realme released the realme 9 a couple of days ago with many taking notice of this budget friendly option for the smartphone market.

As usual, every new smartphone has its own highlights and there’s no different with the realme 9.

That said, these are the highlights of the smartphone as stated by realme.

realme 9 highlights

The screen of the smartphone is a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate.

It offers 10,240-level brightness adjustment and is made and protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen.

The cameras of the smartphone is also one of the key highlights of the realme 9 as it is the the first device globally packed with the HM6 sensor.

Together with the HM6 sensor, realme paired its Nonapixel Plus Technology which amps up the camera performances by 1.6 times maximum brightness, and 9x Focusing Precision as compared to the HM2 sensor, which is its predecessor.

If you’ve not noticed, the camera set-up is made up of a triple camera set-up, which includes the 108MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macros lens.

Up front, there’s a 16MP front camera with the Sony IMX471 sensor for selfie shots.

Colour options are also a highlight of this realme 9 smartphone with Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White and Meteor Black having just a 7.99mm bezel.

This is the thinnest recognized in its price range.

Aside from that, the 9’s back panel was designed with technology that combines Plasma Atom-coating Process with UV-nano Imprinting Process to realize corrugated 3D texture in order to create a design with dynamic corrugated light effect.

Last but not least, the realme 9 uses the most advanced processor in its price segment in Malaysia; the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 6nm processor.

This processor is an advanced 6nm processor and is currently the top of the line in the mid-range segment due to its ability to efficiently to provide 30% lesser power consumption compared to the Helio G96 (12nm processor).

Price and availability

There has been little mention when the smartphone will arrive in Malaysia, but I don’t think it will take too long.

This assumption of mine is based on realme Malaysia‘s speed in bringing in new models into the country.

Regardless, if you are keen to buy the smartphone before the rest, you can always buy them from the links below.
