realme today announced the launch of realme 13 Series 5G, known as the Gaming Dominator.
The brand says that this latest addition marks a significant milestone as the most powerful offering yet in the history of the Number series.
Following a refreshed product strategy, the realme Number series is now divided into Number Pro series and Number series.
The former focuses on delivering Next-gen Imaging and the latter promises Next-gen Power.
realme 13 5G Series models
That said, the realme 13 Series 5G consists of two devices: realme 13+ 5G and realme 13 5G.
Both devices are generally similar with the differences coming in the processor equipped in the phone, as well as the fast charging power it supports. Also significantly different is the camera sensors as well as the storage space options in both phones.
The realme 13+ 5G is the world’s first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset and with support for 80W fast charging. Its main 50MP camera is a Sony LYT-600 sensor, with its internal storage is 512GB.
The realme 13 5G on the other hand is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with only a 45W fast charging technology. While it does also boast a 50MP camera, the sensor is a Samsung S5KJNS sensor, with the internal storage space being 256GB.
realme 13 5G Series price and availability
Due to this difference, both phones are also differently priced with the realme 13+ 5G available from 19 October 2024 at the price of RM1,399, and the realme 13 5G starting sales on 1 November with a retail price of RM1,199.
For those buying the realme 13+ 5G from 19 October until 18 November, they will get the the 12GB+512GB version at only RM1,699, with complimentary gifts worth up to RM799.
The gifts included are the Techlife Wireless Earbuds, a 365-day Screen Damage Warranty, and a 730-day Warranty.
In addition, those looking to tie their phones with telco plans, the realme 13 Series 5G will be available in telco partners including CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, and retail partners such as DirectD and Urban Republic.
