The new platform is a premium offering designed to elevate flagship mobile experiences.
The new platform features the custom-built Qualcomm Oryon CPU with peak speeds up to 3.8 GHz, delivering a 36% performance improvement and 76% better web browsing responsiveness compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
For graphics, the Qualcomm Adreno GPU uses an innovative sliced architecture to boost gaming performance by 11%.
It transforms devices into “Intuitive Companions” using the Qualcomm AI Engine.
In addition, the Qualcomm Sensing Hub allows the AI assistant to wake up just by picking up the device, and agentic AI assistants offer personalized, context-aware interactions.
The dedicated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU achieves up to a 46% improved performance in AI tasks.
According to the brand’s press release, the new platform is set to bring high-end performance and intelligence to a wider range of smartphones, with devices from OEMs like OnePlus, iQOO, Motorola, and Vivo launching soon.
