POCO has introduced its latest entry-level smartphone, the POCO C71.
This new device aims to provide price-conscious consumers with high-quality hardware, a stylish design reminiscent of flagship models, and a comprehensive user experience.
Key features of the POCO C71 include a large display, a powerful octa-core processor, and an enhanced 32MP AI dual camera system, all housed in an attractive, flat design.
In terms of performance, the POCO C71 is equipped with an octa-core UNISOC T7250 chipset, offering a significant performance increase compared to its predecessors.
This translates to smoother mobile gaming, faster app loading, and seamless multitasking. The device is available with up to 128GB of internal storage and supports up to 8GB of additional memory expansion, contributing to an enhanced user experience.
The POCO C71 also features a large 6.88″ display with a 1640*720 resolution, a 90% screen-to-body ratio, and a cinematic 20.5:9 aspect ratio, promising an improved visual experience for media consumption.
Additionally, the 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and responsiveness. Prioritizing eye care, the display has received TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly features, along with DC dimming to minimize eye strain.
It also boasts an upgraded 32MP AI dual camera system designed to capture clearer images, especially in low-light conditions due to its larger sensor.
POCO in a press release says the 8MP front-facing camera allows for detailed portrait photos, and a Fill light feature enhances clarity in darker environments.
The phone sports a sleek 8.26mm profile with a distinctive camera design and is available in Black, Gold, and Blue finishes.
The battery is a long-lasting 5,200mAh battery with 15W fast charging, with the phone having a side fingerprint sensor, and AI face unlocking for added convenience and security.
Price and availability
POCO C71 will be available in Malaysia at official POCO stores on Shopee and Lazada, and mi.com. POCO C71 will be available in three colors – Black, Gold and Blue.
Two storage variants will be offered for this model: 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB.
From now till May 9, customers can enjoy exclusive early bird pricing on these two model variants with the 4GB variant being priced just at RM269 and the 4GB variant priced at RM319.
