OPPO launch AI phones: Reno 12 Series

OPPO announced two new AI Phones, namely the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro, which are under the OPPO Reno12 Series.

According to OPPO Malaysia, the two models represent a new chapter in the history of the popular OPPO Reno Series and the first major release under OPPO’s commitment to accelerate the adoption of AI Phones.

Both Reno12 and Reno12 Pro feature a Futuristic Fluid Design and High-Strength Alloy Framework while at the same time being equipped with the brand-new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy for Reno mobile platform.

As the name suggest, the processor is developed exclusively by MediaTek and OPPO.

Aside from that, the new devicesccome with OPPO’s 80W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge technology and the highest energy density 5,000mAh battery in Reno Series history.

• Both devices use the Sony LYT-600 sensor which features full-pixel omnidirectional autofocus and OIS
• Reno12 Pro has a 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera with 2x optical zoom, and a new 50MP Selfie Camera with autofocus and new AI Portrait Retouching effects
• Both phones feature an enhanced Flash Snapshot

Aside from the highlights above, OPPO also introduced BeaconLink to Reno12 and Reno12 Pro which boosts Bluetooth transmission to enable communications at a distance of up to 200 meters, making it possible to place one-to-one voice calls in emergency situations without the need for network coverage.

Reno 12 Series Malaysia Pricing and availability

OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro are available for Malaysians to purchase starting today.

The OPPO Reno12 Pro (12GB + 512GB) at the recommended retail price of RM2,599, while the Reno12 (12GB + 512GB) is priced at RM2,199.
