OPPO Find N5: Global launch date set

OPPO has confirmed that it’s book-style foldable smartphone, the OPPO Find N5 will launch on February 20, 2025 in Singapore.

According to TechRadar, the one of the most striking aspects of the Find N5 is its unprecedented thinness measuring approximately 4.2 millimeters.

This makes it the thinnest foldable phone to date.

Despite its slender form factor, the Find N5 still features a 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge and boasts an array of water-resistance certifications, including IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9.

It also comes with a 8.12-inch LTPO OLED foldable display that supports 1 billion colors, Dolby Vision, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

TechRadar also suggest that the crease is so subtle that it’s barely noticeable.

Under the hood, the OPPO Find N5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

It is said to support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and is even compatibility with in-car systems from EV brands like BYD and NIO in China.

The phone also boast a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and phase detection autofocus (PDAF), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor.

For selfies, there are two 8MP front-facing cameras—one on the cover display and another on the inner display.

More details on the OPPO Find N5 will be available when I learn about, with pricing expected to be known after the global launch.
