If you think WhatsApp hasn’t been keeping your privacy secret enough, then the popular messaging app is moving towards just that as it announced a few additions to its privacy setting today.
The new options for its privacy setting now allow you to select who from your contact list can see your Profile Photo, About, and Last Seen status.
If you think it’s the same previously, then you are mistaken because previously, didn’t have the fourth option called “My contacts except…”.
This new option allows you to show your WhatsApp profile photo, last seen, and About info to people in your contacts list except those you exclude.
The new WhatsApp privacy setting is pretty straight forward as the option allows you to exclude those nosy buddies you dislike from seeing your status updates and bits of you private life.
🔒 To further protect your privacy online, we’re rolling out new options to your privacy control settings 🔒
