The HONOR of Malaysia 5th Anniversary Gala, held on February 4, 2026, marked a historic milestone for the technology giant.
The event served as a dual celebration, commemorating five years of rapid growth in the local market and celebrating HONOR’s ascent to the number one spot in smartphone and tablet market share in Malaysia during late 2025.
The gala was deeply centered on gratitude, moving beyond corporate achievements to honor the people behind the brand’s success.
HONOR presented awards to loyal consumers, fans, and business partners across eight distinct categories.
These recipients were recognized for their invaluable contributions to product development and for fostering a vibrant, supportive ecosystem that propelled HONOR to its leadership position.
A significant highlight of the evening was the launch of the “HONOR of Malaysia Awards Project.”
This long-term Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative is designed to recognize “unsung heroes” who have made profound impacts on Malaysian society. This project aligns the brand’s success with community empowerment, ensuring that its growth benefits the people who need it most.
Three remarkable individuals were honored as the project’s first recipients. Mohd Adli Yahya, founder of the Autism Cafe Project, was recognized for providing employment to youth with autism.
Cikgu Prakash, a visually impaired teacher, was celebrated for his dedication to educating students across the Klang Valley, while “Mak Jah” (Siti Normala Adrus) was lauded for providing affordable meals to students.
In addition to social initiatives, HONOR announced a strategic partnership to support “Visit Malaysia 2026.”
The company will launch a National Photography Tour, encouraging Malaysians to document the country’s diverse landscapes and culture using HONOR devices.
Selected photographs will be showcased in a prestigious HONOR Global Exhibition 2026, putting Malaysia on the international stage.
