HONOR Magic V5 launching in Malaysia this July 15

The HONOR Magic V5, set to launch in Malaysia on July 15, 2025, is touted as the world’s thinnest foldable phone at just 8.8mm, comparable to a 50 sen coin or three bank cards.

Despite its slim profile, it boasts a large 5820mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless SuperCharge capabilities, ensuring long-lasting performance.

The device features a powerful 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 100x digital zoom and new AI imaging tools like AI Super Zoom and AI Enhanced Portrait.

It also includes AI editing tools such as AI Cutout and AI Eraser.

The HONOR Magic V5 is said to also prioritizes durability with an ultra-strong inner screen, HONOR NanoCrystal Anti-Scratch Protection for the outer display, and an Aerospace Special Fiber back.

Its HONOR Super Steel Hinge can withstand up to 35kg of weight and 500,000 folds, and the phone is IP58 and IP59 rated for water and dust resistance.
