HONOR 400 Series: Pre-order from start now

The HONOR 400 Series has just been launched and it introduces next-gen AI imaging technology, flagship-level features, and enhanced durability, aiming to make cutting-edge technology accessible with prices ranging from RM1,899 to RM2,699.

Pre-orders are open until May 29, 2025, offering exclusive gifts depending on which model is pre-ordered.

The HONOR 400 Pro pre-order includes a FREE Instax Mini LiPlay and a 1-Year Extended Warranty, while the HONOR 400 pre-order comes with a FREE HONOR CHOICE Active Noise Cancelling Headphone and a 1-Year Extended Warranty.

Additionally, customers pre-ordering the 256GB HONOR 400 will receive a free upgrade to the 512GB version.

Pre-orders can be placed via HONOR’s official website, experience stores, and authorized partners, as well as through Maxis postpaid plans.

The HONOR 400 Series boasts a powerful AI camera system with the HONOR 400 featuring a 200MP Super Sensing Main Camera with OIS+EIS and a 12MP Ultra-Wide and Macro Camera.

The Pro version adds a 50MP AI Telephoto Camera with 50X super zoom and OIS. Both models include a 50MP Portrait Selfie Camera.

All variants come with HONOR IMAGE ENGINE that powers advanced AI features like AI Super Zoom (15x-50x for Pro, 30x for standard), AI Portrait Snap, and Harcourt Portrait 2.0 with six Film Simulation filters. The Pro version also has AI Enhanced Portrait.

Innovative AI editing tools include AI Image to Video (developed with Google Cloud), HD Moving Photo, Moving Photo Collage, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Remove Reflection, AI Outpainting, AI Upscale, AI Cutout, and AI Face Tune.

Hardware improvements to the device include a 6,000mAh Silicon-carbon Battery designed for longevity and low-temperature performance.

The Pro supports 100W wired and 50W wireless SuperCharge, while the standard version has 80W wired SuperCharge.

The Pro variant offers IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, and the standard HONOR 400 featuring IP65 resistance.

Inside, the Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, while the standard version uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.

In terms of display, the 1.5K AMOLED display features on both variants has a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits HDR peak brightness, alongside Eye Comfort Display technologies like 3840Hz Risk-Free PWM Dimming, Hardware-level Low Blue Light, Dynamic Dimming, Circadian Night mode, AI Defocus Display, and Ultra Dark Mode. A new Motion Sickness Relief feature is also included.

The HONOR 400 Series, running on MagicOS 9.0, integrates AI for productivity with features like AI Summary, AI Minutes, AI Format, AI Correction, AI Translation, and AI Live Translation.

It also includes Google’s Gemini AI assistant, and has on-device AI Deepfake Detection integrated.

Magic Portal 2.0 also now allows users to quickly access apps by circling on-screen objects.

Both devices are quite affordable considering their specifications. The HONOR 400 Pro (24GB RAM, 512GB ROM) is priced at RM2,699 and available in Lunar Grey, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black.

The HONOR 400 comes in 256GB (RM1,899) and 512GB (RM2,199) configurations, available in Desert Gold, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black.
