At the end of August, vivo Malaysia unveiled the latest additions to its stylish vivo V25 series: V25e and V25.
Both smartphones comes with superior photography features, as the new V25 series tries to empower users to embark on a self-expression journey with its stunning camera, powered by high-performance, energy-efficient hardware, all cased in an exquisite body.
vivo V25 series highlights
The new V25 series follows vivo V series’ heritage of capturing exquisite moments with its superior camera capabilities and cutting-edge imaging technology.
The smartphones are equipped with a 64MP OIS ultra-sensing rear camera that boasts upgraded OIS and EIS capabilities.
The V25 in particular has Super Night Mode feature, which accurately restores the colours and brightness of highly saturated images at night, with both models of the variant having the Bokeh Flare Portrait which is vivo’s self-developed bokeh algorithms to deliver better portrait quality.
For vloggers, the V25 also come with a new Vlog Movie feature that improves the filming experience with video templates and tutorials, while the upgraded Multi-Style Portrait feature in the front camera provides fun filters, enhancing the video experience.
The front camera of V25 comes with Natural Portrait video mode, while the Hybrid Image Stabilization (OIS+EIS) feature makes video shooting clearer and more stable.
Both the V25e and V25 are capable of recording 4K HD videos as well.
The V25e and V25 have 32MP and 50MP HD front cameras respectively with autofocus and eye focus capabilities. In addition to that, the front cameras are equipped with AI HD Algorithm that optimises sharpness.
Both smartphones have a thin 2.5D body that is 7.79mm with a punch hole centred at the top of the front camera.
The V25 features a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with a high energy-efficiency ratio and 8GB RAM + 8GB extended RAM.
The V25e on the other hand is fitted with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with incredible power efficiency with 8GB + 8GB extended RAM.
It features 256GB internal storage and allow memory expansion of up to 1TB, allowing users to download and store on their device without worries.
Both smartphone models support 44W FlashCharge that recharges its 4500mAh battery cell from 0% to 61% in 30 minutes.
In terms of physical looks, both smartphones are available in Sunrise Gold and Diamond Black. Additionally, the V25 comes in Aquamarine Blue.
vivo used their revolutionary Color Changing Fluorite AG Glass for the rear panel, which enables the rear panel of the devices to display different colours at different angles when exposed to UV light.
The Aquamarine Blue edition specially for the V25 switches from ocean blue to bluish green; while the Sunrise Gold edition of V25e and V25 shifts from gold to reddish orange.
vivo V25 series Malaysia price and availability
The vivo V25 and vivo V25e are now available at RM1,799 and RM1,399, respectively.
Customers can purchase the devices at all vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-Store, and vivo Malaysia’s official flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada.
From 29 August to 2 September 2022, customers who purchase the vivo V25 are entitled to receive free gifts worth up to RM577, which includes a V25 series leather bagpack worth RM129, 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249.
Customers who purchase the vivo V25e are also entitled to free gifts worth RM547, which includes a V25e premium box Bluetooth speaker and V25 umbrella worth RM99, 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249.
