realme recently announced an upgraded variant of the all-time best-seller, the realme C53.
The smartphone which has a 50MP AI primary camera and a 33W SUPERVOOC Charge now comes with a new configuration that features an expandable 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage capacity.
This is an expansion from the existing expandable 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
The new variant is available in either Champion Gold and Mighty Black, from 10 November 2023.
It retails at just RM699.
The new configuration means the C53 has redefined the entry-level smartphone category by offering the largest expandable RAM and ROM storage in its price segment.
It supports two Nano SIM cards and a MicroSD card, expanding external storage by up to 2TB.
Under the hood, a 5,000mAh battery capacity powers this smartphone that runs on a T612 octa-core processor, with the realme C53 featuring Android’s first Mini Capsule, a 150% UltraBoom speaker and a fast-side fingerprint sensor.
