OPPO Malaysia recently launched the OPPO A79 5G, which features various hardware and software enhancements.
According to the brand, the smartphone is also IP54-rated which means it is splash and dust prove.
It also comes with a 6.72-inch FHD+ Sunlight Display that is said to enhance gaming and audio-visual experiences, and the 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC flash charge.
The A79 5G also introduces Dual Stereo Speakers and Ultra Volume Mode for immersive audio.
Inside, it comes with 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM which is supported by OPPO’s Dynamic Computing Engine.
The camera system includes a 50MP AI Camera, 2MP Portrait Camera, and 8MP Selfie Camera.
It comes in two colours, Dazzling Purple and Mystery Black, while it incorporates a Glowing Feather texture which draws inspiration from mechanical watches.
OPPO A79 5G Malaysia price and availability
The A79 5G is available in Malaysia from 11 November 2023 through various channels, including the OPPO Official Online Store and Lazada and Shopee platforms.
It retails at RM1,199, which is quite a bargain considering the specs.
Aside from that, in conjunction with the launch, OPPO is also running a “Join and Win Contest” on its official Facebook page, allowing participants to win the new A79 5G.
The contest runs until 15th November 2023, and those joining will have the opportunity to win a brand-new
