The competition to offer high speed Internet up to 100Mbps for homes in Sabah and Sarawak had intensified over the week with Maxis announcing their entry into the market through MaxisONE Home Fibre.
According to a release received from Maxis, the plan that starts at RM139/month comes with Internet speeds of up to 100Mbps, unlimited data, voice calls and professional Wi-Fi setup via Maxperts, Maxis’ very own tech team.
To sweeten the deal for the MaxisONE Home Fibre, unlimited video streaming on iFlix is also included for customers that sign up for the plan.
For customer already with Maxis through their mobile plan, it’s probably a good idea to consider the MaxisONE 4G Combo instead as it allows one to share data of up to 30GB across fixed and multiple mobile lines, unlimited calls and SMS at only RM148/month. If you require more data, there’s the RM198/month plan which offers 60GB.
However, unlike the MaxisONE Home Fibre, there’s no unlimited iFlix streaming, but you could get a home modem or smartphone by just adding RM1, which is a pretty sweet deal.
For business customers, Maxis is extending its range of ONEBusiness solutions for Sarawak businesses with the launch of Zero Downtime Business Fibre Internet with speeds of up to 100Mbps available at the office. The plan includes a wireless Internet backup giving owners peace of mind.
