According to a statement by the brand, the main focus of this partnership is to support the upcoming MAL MY tournament and inspire Malaysian youth to pursue their dreams within the esports industry.

Players will be equipped with high-performance devices, specifically the Infinix GT 10 Pro, to ensure smooth gameplay during the tournament.

As part of this collaboration, Infinix will showcase its latest GT Series, a smartphone specifically designed to cater to the needs of mobile gaming enthusiasts seeking to enhance their gaming potential.

Organised by Moonton and IO Esports, MAL MY represents Malaysia’s professional second-division league, following the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL). Within MAL MY, current MPL teams have the opportunity to establish secondary teams, fostering the growth of new players and providing them with a pathway to qualify for upcoming MPL slots and establish themselves as professional teams.

Apart from that, Infinix Malaysia has extended its collaboration with Homebois, a popular Malaysian esports team. This marks the brand’s second year collaborating with the team to continue to inspire Malaysian youths in transforming their passion into professional careers in the esports industry.

The extension of the collaboration was well received by Homebois with their founder saying that such partnership brings great promise to Malaysia’s gaming community.

The esports industry has shown significant growth and success for the past years in Malaysia.

The partnership between Infinix, IO Esports, Montoon, and Homebois is a big step forward in the industry and inspires for more growth in Malaysian esports as such collaborations allow these organisations to indirectly help esports in Malaysia to thrive even more, creating new chances for success along the way.
