HONOR is set to revolutionize smartphone imaging with the upcoming HONOR 400 Series, which will be the first to feature AI Image to Video technology.

According to the brand, this innovative feature, developed in collaboration with Google Cloud, goes beyond typical AI photo editing by transforming static images into dynamic, 5-second MP4 videos.

This therefore allows users to add motion to subjects in their photos, creating short, shareable videos in 16:9 or 9:16 formats, opening up new creative possibilities for capturing and reliving memories.

HONOR says that the AI Image to Video feature promises to bring a new dimension to preserving and sharing memories.

It can breathe life into old photographs, allowing users to see loved ones move and smile, or animate children’s drawings and capture fleeting moments like a baby’s first smile in a looping video.

This technology therefore aims to reignite the emotion behind still images, turning them into short, impactful films suitable for sharing. HONOR says it will even highlight this capability in an upcoming Mother’s Day campaign.

Beyond the groundbreaking AI Image to Video, the HONOR 400 Series will also be equipped with a comprehensive suite of pro-level AI photo editing tools designed for on-the-go creators.

These tools include AI Eraser, AI Outpainting, AI Cutout, AI Upscale, and Moving Photo Collage, enabling users to effortlessly refine, expand, and transform their images.

Complementing its smart features, the HONOR 400 Series boasts a timeless and elegant design, with smooth curves, a lightweight build, and slim profiles.

The Pro model features a triple-camera setup and comes in Lunar Grey, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black, while the standard version has a dual-camera system and is available in Desert Gold, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black.
