HONOR Malaysia today confirmed that the HONOR 200 Series, the brand’s latest AI Aesthetic Flagship smartphone, will be coming to Malaysia.
According to HONOR, the devices feature immersive displays, cutting edge specifications and next-generation platform-level AI capabilities that seek to redefine the future of mobile imaging.
In addition to the new line-up, HONOR will also be introducing the more powerful HONOR 200 Pro in Malaysia as well.
This is the first time that an HONOR Number series Pro model will be available in the country.
For this particular series which HONOR claims is the ultimate smartphone for portrait photography, HONOR has collaborated with renowned Parisian portrait photography house, Studio Harcourt.
The collaboration sees the company co-engineer the HONOR AI Portrait Engine that enables the HONOR 200 Series to offer studio-level portrait photography capabilities.
Studio Harcourt has a history spanning over nine decades in photography and has photographed celebrities and royalty alike from Roger Federer to the esteemed Queen Rania of Jordan. They have become synonymous with creating timeless portraits that masterfully blend light and shadows to create breath taking masterpieces of visual storytelling.
In addition to the collaboration, HONOR also announced that the HONOR 200 Series will be the first to be equipped with a Sony IMX856 Telephoto Camera Sensor.
This sensor promises sharp, detailed pictures of faraway objects.
The HONOR 200 Series standard version will boast a unique Sony IMX906 Main Camera Sensor, while the Pro version is equipped with a more powerful H9000 sensor.
Beyond that, the HONOR 200 Series features a triple 50MP Main Camera designed for portraits which utilizes an improved HONOR RAW Domain Algorithm to create balanced portraits that handle exposure well in bright areas while retaining details in darker lighting scenarios.
A Dual OIS Anti-shake System is also included to minimizes blur and ensures smooth video recording.
