HONOR Magic4 Pro highlights
HONOR focuses a lot of attention to the camera system of the Magic4 Pro which they claim to be the best-in-class Ultra Fusion Photography.
What this means is that the smartphone pushes industry benchmarks by featuring a 50MP Wide Camera, a 50MP 122° Ultra Wide Camera, and a 64MP Periscope Telephoto Camera, to create what the company deems as the best-in-class Multi-Camera Ultra Fusion Photography, enabling high-definition images in stunning clarity.
According to the company, the combination of a 50MP Wide Camera and the 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera cause images to achieve 65% increase in sharpness and clarity.
This is further enhanced with the 3.5x Optical Zoom and a 100x Digital Zoom which increases image clarity up to 160%.
Aside from that, the Magic4 Pro features the HONOR Magic-Log Movie Master and AI Film Effects which brings the industries’ first ever 10-bit Log 4K video recording in 60fps (frame per second).
This means movie-like shooting is possible with the Log format allowing videos enhancement with cinematic color tones in HDR clarity.
In addition to that, this flagship smartphone also comes equipped with the cutting-edge technology of the 1920Hz PWM dimming LTPO display.
Such technology helps reduce brightness fluctuations and screen flickering in displays, specifically in dark or low light environments.
Other than the camera capabilities, the smartphone also has an IP68 rating, a 93.0% screen-to-body ratio, a 6.81 inch screen that has a 120Hz refresh rate, and a powerful Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
Personal thoughts about the HONOR Magic4 Pro
All this makes the Magic4 Pro quite a beast especially for content creators and videography enthusiast.
As a person who creates content, I feel this smartphone does tick all the boxes as a good smartphone and should be able to help make content creation even more expressive and powerful.
Nonetheless, the verdict of how good this smartphone is will only be known officially to Malaysians when it arrives officially in Malaysia this June 1.
