CelcoDigi today announced that they have simplified their privacy notice into easy-to-digest infographics on its website.
According to the company, the infographics aims to educate its customers about the type of personal information that is collected, why it is collected, how it is processed and with whom it will be shared.
It also helps customers understand their privacy rights, how to exercise these rights and steps to take if their data is compromised.
I personally think it’s the right way forward and such move should be adopted by other companies because the trend of offering long wordy privacy notices doesn’t benefit customers, specifically those who do not have excellent language comprehension.
