It’s not confirmed, but rumours are strong that the up-coming Xiaomi Mi Max 3 would own a massive 7-inch screen, making it perfect for gaming purposes.
The screen is a huge leap from its predecessor, the Mi Max 2 which only had a 6.44-inch screen, putting the Mi Max 3 closer to becoming a mini tablet, than just a phablet.
According to rumours, the MI Max 3 would also follow the trend of newer Xiaomi smartphones, having an 18:9 display with considerably thinner bezels than any of its predecessors as well.
Aside from the bigger screen, a report by AndroidHeadlines mentioned that the biggest handset in the Xiaomi line will, “allegedly, ship in two SoC variants, one variant will be fueled by the Snapdragon 630, while the other one will arrive with the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor.”
Other specs say that it would also spot a 5,500mAh non-removable battery and there is a likelihood that the Mi Max 3 would be launched in mid-2018.
The Xiaomi Mi Max series was first launched in 2016 and it has been a favorite phablet among mobile gamers due to it’s bigger screen, long battery life, speedy Snapdaragon processor, and relatively cheap price on both GearBest (USD151) and Lazada Malaysia (MYR825).
