Two budget friendly smartphones, the realme C25Y and realme NARZO 50i were introduced by the realme Malaysia over the week. These smartphones were introduced along with the realme Pad and realme GT Neo2.
The realme C25Y is built with a powerful UNISOC T618 processor, and it comes with a 50MP AI Triple Camera and a 5,000mAh battery, hence making it an entry-level king at its price segment.
Meanwhile, the realme narzo 50i brings an affordable entertainment device with a long-lasting battery life and 6.5” large display to consumers.
realme C25Y highlights
This smartphone has a 6.5-inch display with a screen-to-body ratio as high as 88.7%.
As an entry level smartphone, there’s not much to shout about the realme C25Y, but if one does consider it’s pricing range, then this latest addition C series smartphone comes with the capable octa-core 12nm UNISOC T618 processor which adopts the Arm DynamIQ architecture design.
It comes with a self-developed fifth-generation image engine Vivimagic solution and high-quality display processing technology which is said to offer users a high-quality experience when in use.
The battery included is also massive since it’s a big 5,000mAh Mega Battery which the company claims can last up to 48 days in standby mode. In addition to that, the battery comes with an 18W Quick Charge with OTG Reverse Charging capabilities as well.
realme also gave this entry level smartphone a 50MP AI camera which is also paired with a 2MP Macro Lens and a 2MP B&W Lens.
Up front, there’s also an 8MP Selfie Camera for those loving selfies.
realme narzo 50i highlights
The realme narzo 50i shares the same screen and battery size of the realme C25Y, and it has a powerful Octa-core Processor.
Its equipped with a 3-card slot for two SIM cards and one SD card and supports a maximum of 256GB memory expansion.
It has a modest 8MP AI camera with Chroma Boost and 8MP image sensor with an f/2.0 large aperture to catch more light to make picture quality better and a 1080P full-HD video recording.
realme Malaysia price and availability
Both smartphones will be available for sale this month (November 2021) with the realme C25Y (4+128GB) being sold first from 6th of November 2021 at a retail price of RM699.
The variant sold on the 6th will have the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage space. The smartphone will be sold on realme Malaysia Shopee and Lazada store.

On 11 November, the smaller and cheaper realme C25Y variant which boast 4GB RAM and + 64GB storage space, will also be sold for just RM499.
This is cheaper from the retail price of the smartphone which will be RM599 after that day.
This offer is exclusive for realme’s Global store.
For realme narzo 50i, the smartphone will be offered at an introductory price of RM399 on 11th of November, with the price returning back to its retail pricing of RM499 afterwards.
