HONOR Malaysia today officially announced that the new HONOR X9a 5G,is scheduled for it’s Malaysia launch on 4 January 2023.
Being in the X Series of the brand, the HONOR X9a 5G is the first mid-range smartphone that embodies a curved screen, a feature that only usually goes to flagship smartphone.
Aside from that, the screen features an Ultra Tough OLED Curved Display which uses a specially designed glass made for HONOR smartphones.
This glass uses 0.65mm Super Reinforced glass, and results in stronger and more drop-resistant glasses if compared to the 0.55mm glass commonly used in the market.
The toughness is proven by the experiments carried in HONOR’s lab tests, which includes repeated 1-meter drops on marble and concrete floors, and multiple-angle rolling drops, among which the micro-drop test was carried out for several ten thousand times.
As already noted, the HONOR X9a 5G also comes with an OLED screens instead of the typical LCD screens usually used by mid-range smartphones.
Also, the HONOR X9a 5G will be the first smartphone in the X series that supports HONOR Multiscreen Collaboration feature, that connect HONOR X9a to HONOR’s laptop for more efficient working.
HONOR X9a 5G Malaysia launch date and time
HONOR Malaysia confirms that the smartphone will be released officially in Malaysia at 7pm on 4 January 2023.
