Garmin Fenix 7 series debuts to all

Garmin has now updated its Garmin Fenix 7 series with fancy new solar panels, sapphire and titanium materials as well as an all-new LED flashlight for night time training.

There’s three models in the series, namely the Fenix 7S, a vanilla Fenix 7 and the Fenix 7X.

Each model comes in 42mm, 44mm, 47mm and 51mm sizes respectively, and come with transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) color touchscreen displays.

This display has a 1.2-inch diagonal on the 42mm model, 1.3” on the 47mm and 1.4” on the 51mm model. Haptic controls are also available through the five side-mounted buttons of the smartwatch.

The battery strength of the Garmin Fenix 7 ranges from 90 hours to 213 hours, and are also dependent on the model. The high-end Solar models get the longest battery life, while the 7S models survive for 90 hours on a single full charge.

All Fenix 7 series watches have heart rate measurements, SpO2, breathing, stress and sleep tracking and are 10ATM waterproof, but the Fenix 7X gets itself a special built-in LED flashlight.

There’s a good deal of activities you can measure with the Fenix 7 series, and they include cycling swimming, running, skiing, golf and strength training.

More details of the watch can be seen in the Garmin promotional video below.

Where to buy the Garmin Fenix 7

I’m not sure if Garmin Malaysia has brought in the Garmin Fenix 7 series into Malaysia as of now, but the Fenix 7 and 7S starts at $700 (RM2,800) with it hitting $900 (RM3,200) at most.

The Garmin Fenix 7X on the other hand retails from $900 (RM2,800) and $1,000 (RM4,000).
