HomeBois recently became champions of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY), securing their first MPL MY title.
The group is a partner with tech giant, Infinix Malaysia since the start of the MPL Malaysia Season 12.
In the finals, HomeBois demonstrated resilience and skill by securing the title in a closely contested battle against Team SMG.
SMG was back-to-back grand finalists and one-time champions.
Homebois however rallied and emerged victorious, showcasing their determination and exceptional gameplay despite innitially facing a 3-1 deficit.
Inifnix in a press release to us at PhoneSentral said that HomeBois’ journey to glory has been nothing short of extraordinary, especially after their initial debut in MPL MY Season 7 which saw them secured a 7th/8th place finish.
Last season, they came close to clinching the title but were thwarted by Team SMG, resulting in a third-place finish.
This season however, HomeBois have emerged victorious, showcasing their growth and determination.
With the victory, HomeBois ecures them a coveted spot in the prestigious M5 World Championship, scheduled to take place from 2nd December to 17th December in the Philippines.
This also means that HomeBois will be set to proudly represent Malaysia against the world’s top esports teams.
