PUMA Smartwatch – Sports brand joins the smartwatch bandwagon

Both PUMA and Fossil Group announced recently that they are coming out with the PUMA Smartwatch.

The smartwatch, a first for the sports brand, is powered with Wear OS by Google™ and equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform.

PUMA is said to be excited to enter the smartwatch space with a wearable that is designed to help athletes.

According to a press release I received the smartwatch is expected to help athletes train, stay motivated, track goals and connect with others while on the go.

The smartwatch is designed to look and feel good, with a cut-out nylon and aluminium case that delivers an ultra-lightweight fit.

A textured silicone strap provides grip and breathability to minimize sweat while on the go.

The PUMA Smartwatch is available in three fashion-forward colourways, giving it a sense of fashion as well as practicality. There’s yellow, black and red to choose from.

Aside from that, the smartwatch also comes in several interactive dial options, like the “Scorecard” dial which displays time, date and heart rate, and gives the ability for users to customize the information they can quickly view at a glance.

The smartwatch will be available in November on puma.com and select retailers.  It will also be available on Shopee.

So far there is no mention of the pricing for this smartwatch but its good to have a real sports brand enter the smartwatch badwagon as well.
