LG Electronics Malaysia (LG Malaysia) confirmed that they are refreshing their true wireless stereo listening experience with the two wearable wireless audio family.
LG TONE Free FP9 and FP8 highlights
Unlike your typical earphones, the duo comes with a hygiene-boosting UVnano charging case which work during the time the earbuds are charged in the case.
It is understood that the UVnano technology can sterilise and kill bacteria that may linger on the speaker mesh within five minutes, with the FP8 able to do this during wireless and wired charging, and the FP9 only able to do so during wired charging.
Speaking of charging, both earbuds can be powered up to 10-hours of use, with the case able to contain 24-hours of battery life. The earbuds on the other hand can be used for an hour after a 10 minute charge.
In terms of usability, there’s an ‘Ambient Mode’ which allows users to be aware of the surroundings so that would be beneficial to keep one safe when on the go because you’d be aware of the surroundings.
There’s a new Headphone Spatial Processing from Meridian Audio, enhanced active noise cancelling, 3D Sound Stage, three microphones in each earbud, and a new Whispering Mode which allows for greater call privacy and clarity as part of the specs sheet of the earbuds.
On top of that, both the LG TONE Free FP9 and FP8 have more ergonomic concha-shaped design and is IPX4 rated. This makes it suitable for workouts as well.

Both earbuds come in two colours which are Pearl White and Charcoal Black.
Their retail price begins at MYR599 with the LG TONE Free FP9 available online exclusively, whereas the LG TONE Free FP8 is available across all authorised LG retailers in Malaysia.
