Hisense chairman attends high-level banquet during US visit to China

Hisense Chairman Jia Shaoqian attended a high-level banquet hosted by Xi Jinping in Beijing, where global technology and manufacturing leaders gathered for discussions on innovation, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and sustainable manufacturing. The event featured prominent executives including Elon Musk, Tim Cook, Jensen Huang, and Tyson Jacob.

During the exclusive technology roundtable, Hisense highlighted China’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and its transformation from a traditional home appliance company into a major innovator in display technology and smart home solutions.

The company emphasised its leadership in the global display industry through its self-developed RGB-Mini LED technology, supported by its proprietary Linglong 4-Core True Color Backlight system and Hi-View AI image processing chip.

Hisense’s latest UX series televisions reportedly deliver 110% BT.2020 colour gamut coverage, 10,000 nits peak brightness, and precise 134-bit colour control, positioning the brand as a benchmark in premium display technology.

The company also showcased its achievements in laser display technology, where it maintains independent intellectual property rights across laser light sources, optical modules, and terminal devices.

Hisense stated that its continued investment in optical research has strengthened its position in the global laser TV market through enhanced contrast, eye comfort, and wider colour performance.

Beyond displays, Hisense presented its developments in smart home appliances, including a self-developed heat pump washing machine designed to improve energy efficiency while offering fabric-friendly washing and drying performance.

The company said the product reflects its commitment to green manufacturing and sustainable innovation.

Jia Shaoqian’s participation and discussions with international technology leaders highlighted growing collaboration opportunities between Chinese and U.S. enterprises.

Hisense also noted that its global expansion strategy continues to support overseas revenue growth and rising brand recognition internationally.

The company plans to further invest in RGB-Mini LED, laser display, and heat pump appliance technologies while expanding global partnerships and strengthening the international influence of China’s high-end manufacturing sector.
