Google is expected to integrate the Google Lens with the Google Assistant in coming weeks.

This was reported by Android Central which said that a couple of Googlers had confirmed such integration.

Google Lens is currently exclusive to Pixel phones, with the phones receiving the app over the few days.

Up to this post, Android Central explains that the app is also tucked away in Google photos and those wanting to use it “need to take a photo with the camera, let the image process, go to said image, and then tap the Lens icon”.

I actually heard good things about Google Lens, so I’m pretty excited about the arrival to the Google Assistant.
